In 2014, the match once again broke record as the highest attended action pistol match known. The weekend–long match is geared toward shooters of all levels with a special focus on providing a safe and fun family environment.
Back by popular demand, the Gunny Challenge XI will pit two Marines against each other in a friendly action pistol match. “Finally, at last, a worthy adversary,” said Ermey. “An accomplished military veteran. A Medal of Honor recipient. I cannot wait. He’s one of my heroes.”
The three-day shoot will be held at the Griffin Gun Club in Griffin, GA, on September 25-27, 2015. All are welcome to participate and must only be a GSSF member to compete. Membership is available at event registration and online. To learn about the GLOCK Annual Shoot XXII and more about GSSF, visit http://www.gssfonline.com.
