Dave Sevigny used a custom high capacity pistol in the Limited match. He trailed the leaders on Day 1 before taking the lead after Day 2. The end result following Day 3 was Sevigny’s 12th USPSA National Championship victory. He then switched pistols and competed with an FNS-40L at the L-10 Nationals which began two days later. Sevigny finished 2nd overall in a close race for the L-10 win.
“It is an amazing feat for Dave to win the IPSC Nationals followed by the USPSA Nationals less than one month apart. His 2nd place L-10 finish and the way he did it is something only Dave could do. Congratulations to him for another successful season”, commented GASTON CEO Beate Arnold.
The IPSC and USPSA wins place Sevigny in the lead for 2017 World team selection. In 2014, he was part of the U.S. Gold team at IPSC World Shoot XVII.
