Ideal for long range target work and handgun hunting, the Ed Brown LS10 is chambered in the powerful 10mm and features a six-inch barrel; six-inch long slide, single stack government model frame; 25 LPI checkering on the forestrap and mainspring housing; traditional “square cut” front and cocking serrations. It’s also available with a Trijicon RMR, or a more traditional adjustable sight, and includes a french border; flush barrel crown; and a slide top that’s flattened and serrated.
According to the press release, the Ed Brown LS10 is fully machined from bar stock like all the company’s pistols, and is held to the same exacting standards.
“The addition of a long slide 10mm makes perfect sense when you consider how compete a line of custom 1911s we offer our customers,” said John May, the sales and marketing director for Ed Brown Products. “We make every component in house so if we can dream of it, the guys can make it happen. This new LS10 gives both hunters and long range pistol shooters a chance to get an Ed Brown pistol that meets their demands and with a base price of $3,995 (including RMR) they get a lot of custom pistol for the price!”
The Ed Brown LS10 boasts an OA length of 9.75 inches and height of 6.25 inches, and weighs in at 43 ounces with an unloaded magazine inserted. Speaking of the magazine, it features a 9-round capacity.
