As part of its collaboration with John “TIG” Tiegen—member of the Benghazi Annex Security team, hero of the Benghazi attack and co-author of the book “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi”—Kahr has announced plans to launch a special edition TIG series Kahr ST9 pistol.
The Kahr ST9 TIG pistol is chambered in 9mm with a four-inch barrel. It features a Kryptek Typhon print on the polymer frame and includes an accessory rail; blackened stainless steel slide; front slide serrations; and white three-dot sights.
Only 1,000 of these pistols will be made. Each will be engraved with its number in the series, the TIG logo, TIG’s signature and the Beyond the Battlefield logo. Beyond the Battlefield is a non-profit TIG and his wife started this year. It supports wounded veterans as they face challenges during rehabilitation, the healing process and reintegration into civilian life.
The limited edition Kahr TIG ST9 will be available beginning in January 2018. The first 50 guns will be sold as three-gun sets which will include this Kahr ST9, a TIG model Auto Ordnance Tommy Gun and a Magnum Research Desert Eagle TIG model. The sets will also come with the “13 Hours” book autographed by TIG.
The suggested retail price on these Kahr ST9 ST9093TIG models is $541. Part of the proceeds from each firearm sold will be donated to Beyond the Battlefield.
