Alien Gear Holsters has expanded its ShapeShift lineup with its new, long-awaited shoulder holster.
ShapeShift Shoulder Holster
The ShapeShift Shoulder Holster is made with edge-bound premium English Bridle leather and CoolVent Neoprene. Meanwhile, the contoured shoulder pads feature a hidden elastic layer that enables the holster to mold and move to your body. A polymer belt hook is also attached to elastic for enhanced comfort, and adjustable straps provide a universal sizing system.
Offering up multiple configurations of the company’s injection-molded polymer handgun shell, and single or double cloak mag carriers, the ShapeShift Shoulder Holster anchors to the belt line and is centered between the user’s shoulder blades. It can be configured to be worn with one handgun and two mag carriers, two handguns or four mag carriers, the press release says.
In addition, the shell can be canted so the gun’s muzzle is directed downward. It features three optional retention levels—thumb release, thumb strap and adjustable passive retention.
Alien Gear touts its ShapeShift Shoulder Holster as a “departure” from your standard shoulder rig.
“Our shoulder holster offers an innovative approach to what’s typically seen. The classic leather look is kept, but was improved by adding modern materials for a more functional, more comfortable, more secure and more modular shoulder holster than ever before,” Alien Gear mechanical engineer Igor Shirobokov said. “Mixing the leather shoulder holster style with modern materials offers the best of both worlds for the user.”
Available in black and brown, the MSRP on the ShapeShift Shoulder Holster is $133.88. The expansion pack is priced at $99.88.
