Cameras have become more common with law enforcement. In addition to body cameras being worn, police are now carying gun-mounted cameras to record confrontations. Now, civilians can also attach a camera to firearms with the Viridian X Series Gen 3.

The Viridian X Series Gen 3 with camera is a light/laser gun accessory that mounts to any Picatinny or Weaver rail. It pairs a 500-lumen light with a green laser, as well as a 1080p full-HD digital camera and microphone. Because of this feature, the camera allows playback for a variety of uses, including training and evidence.
In addition to a rugged, waterproof and low-profile design, the device can be attached to almost any railed device. This provides an unobstructed view from the end of firearms. The light provides illumination when needed, which is when most attacks occur. However, the green laser provides instant target acquisition, as it can be seen in daylight. Additionally, when paired with an Instant-On holster, the system activates as the gun clears the holster. The device also fits most holsters designed for the Streamlight TLR1.
The camera provides an unobstructed view everywhere a user points the gun. Additionally, the Viridian X Series Gen 3 features six operating modes, which are user adjustable, along with rechargeable batteries. Also, users can easily adjust the light/laser/camera to fit their needs.
