Federal recently introduced its newest line of shotgun ammunition, Shorty Shotshells. Designed to deliver similar full-sized performance without the length of standard shells, Federal Shorty Shoshells measure just 1 3/4 inches overall.

At just 1 3/4 inches long, the 12-gauge shells offer similar patterns, energy and accuracy as full-size loads. The Shorty Shotshells come in 8 shot, 4 buck and rifled slugs, delivering tremendous versatility for those considering the shotshells for self-defense. With a shorter overall length, that’s more shells, and with it more firepower, shooters can stuff into the magazine tube with this short, powerful shotshells.
