Riton Optics, a veteran-owned optics company, recently announced its newest optic platform, the X3 Tactix PRD. Riton designed the X3 Tactix PRD as a red dot meant for use on both carbines and pistols.
The X3 Tactix PRD features an ultra-precise 3 MOA dot, making it ideal for both pistol and rifle use, according to Riton. The company utilizes 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and fully multi-coated, HD lenses. The optic comes waterproof and shockproof up to 800Gs of impact, according to Riton.
Riton’s new red dot also features a top-loaded battery. This simple but effective design enables users to replace the battery without having to remove the optic from the firearm. This aves the end user from re-zeroing with each battery change. The pistol red dot utilizes one CR2032, delivering battery life of more than 40,000 hours with six levels of brightness and an auto shut off after four hours.
“At Riton we are always trying to find ways to create the best optics for our customers,” said Jerimiah Alexander, Business Development Manager, Riton Optics. “When designing the X3 Tactix PRD we identified the issues with current products, integrated solutions and then built a high-quality product at a super competitive price.”
All X3 Tactix PRDs come standard with one Picatinny base plate. The optic also includes a protective cover, lens cloth and hex wrench. The red dot retails for $299.99. For more information, visit ritonoptics.com.
