Following up on the success of the P320 version of its Mag-X, Matador Arms recently announced the release of two new versions. The company will now offer CZ-75 and M&P variants of its pistol caliber conversion kit for AR-15 lower receivers.

Matador Arms Mag-X

The Matador Arms Mag-X allows the use of pistol magazines in any AR-15 milspec lower receiver. No modifications are required to the lower or the magazine. And the Mag-X installs in mere seconds, according to Matador Arms.

The conversion kit features a built-in magazine release and locks into place with the standard AR-15 catch. Matador Arms machines the Mag-X from aircraft-grade aluminum and features an anodized finish. Both the ejector and magazine catch utilize steel construction.

Both new versions are available for purchase immediately, and will ship in mid-December.

The kit works with and is only compatible with standard, mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. Further, uppers need to be 9mm with a Glock-pattern cut bolt. The conversion kit does not provide a hold-open feature after the last round is fired.

The Mag-X is available for sale in both the United States and Canada. MSRP is $149.99 USD, with a special introductory price of $119.99.
