The Stoeger STR-9 Compact comes in as an affordable EDC choice.

Stoeger recently announced the latest addition to its pistol line, the STR-9 Compact. Chambered in 9mm, the striker-fired semi-automatic pistol provides a qualify, affordable option for those looking for a carry gun.

The new pistol comes with 13- or 10-round magazines, making it a great EDC choice practically anywhere. It comes with a corrosion-resistant black nitride finish and interchangeable backstrap grips. The pistol features a 3.8-inch barrel and measures 6.9 inches overall. It weighs 24 ounces.

Stoeger says the pistol’s grip angle matches the drift-adjustable, three-dot sights. A low-bore axis helps fight muzzle rise, for faster follow-up shots. Aggressive front and back slide serrations provide a firm grip. The trigger houses and internal safety as well.

An accessory rail accepts a wide variety of pistol and laser lights for low-light conditions. The reversible magazine release allows for right- and left-handed shooting. The STR-9 comes in a variety of configurations, including different size backstraps and Tritium night sights.
