It has been almost two years since Meprolight introduced its innovative rear sight, which was a departure from traditional sights. Now, Meprolight has done it again with their new FT Bullseye Front Sight, that operates day or night without batteries.

The Meprolight FT Bullseye Front Sight

Although the original rear sight had many strengths and was very popular, Meprolight’s Sight Design Engineers had more ideas. They put their focus on the fact that most people receive training to focus on the front sight. Not to mention the benefits of a front sight configuration for those with an astigmatism or age-related eyesight issues.

The use of fiber optic technology, combined with tritium creates an aiming point inside an illuminated dot and circle bullseye. Where this tiny optic really shines is its functionality in both day and night conditions, without the need for batteries. The fiber optics illuminate the reticle during the day, while the tritium illuminates it at night or in low-light conditions.

With fitment for Glock, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, IWI, Sig Sauer, H&K and CZ P-10, the low height over bore, single-sight profile allows you to use the holster of your choice. Additionally, the drag free design prevents the sight from catching on your holster during the draw.

The FT Bullseye Front Sight is designed to be rugged and reliable under any condition. Its drop and shockproof design handles the heavy shock recoil of larger caliber pistols.

The unique design of the sight removes the need for a rear sight, making it a truly reflexive sight. Removing the rear sight means you can focus your attention on the front sight and your sight picture, for faster target acquisition. This improvement in speed an accuracy translates to improved success when it really counts.

The Meprolight FT Bullseye Front Sight is available now with an MSRP of $149.99. For more info, please visit Meprolight.com.
