It’s no secret that Magpul knows shooting. But apparently, they also know style. Obviously, style isn’t important on the range, but it’s nice when going straight from the range to other activities. With Pivot ballistic eyewear from Magpul, you can transition through your entire day without looking like you just finished shooting.

Magpul Pivot Ballistic Eyewear

Designed for small to medium faces, Pivot eyewear is a casual design based on Magpul’s Explorer model. Constructed of TR90NZZ, the strongest thermoplastic available for eyewear, the glasses are lightweight and casual enough for everyday wear. In addition, overmolded anti-slip rubber nose and temple pads keep them in place, regardless of activity.

The impact-resistant oleophobic polycarbonate lenses are available in polarized and non-polarized options. Likewise, they include different color and mirror options, providing premium clarity and contrast. Additionally, the lens material sheds liquid, reducing degradation by water, sweat or chemicals. The lens material is UV and stress-crack resistant and remains impact-resistant, even at low temperatures.

However, it is important to note the tradeoff of function for style. The shape of the Pivot prevents rating to Z87.1. But the engineering still delivers impact protections equal to the company’s other eyewear, according to Magpul. As a result, the lenses provide high velocity impact protection.

The Pivot frame is designed to be compatible with you and your gear. Specifically, the padded low-profile temples fit easily under helmets, communication headsets and over the ear hearing protection.

They are available in either Matte Black or Tortoise, with Gray-Green lens with no mirror or high contrast violet lens with green mirror. However, the non-polarized option is only available in Matte Black and gray lenses with no mirror.

The Magpul Pivot ballistic eyewear options are available now, with an MSRP of $99.00 – $139.00, depending on options. For more info, please visit
