The Taurus G3XL Compact Striker-Fired Pistol
Building on a compact polymer frame, the G3XL easily conceals when holstered, either IWB or OWB. Likewise, the 12-round single stack magazine provides a narrow platform that keeps tight to the body. But if you prefer more rounds, the G3XL will accept 15- and 17-round magazines. However, since they are extended magazines, expect to lose some concealment.
The G3XL features a shorter single slot Picatinny accessory rail for lights or optics, ensuring easy drawing and holstering. Additionally, the removal of the manual safety lever also prevents catching or snagging. However, the trigger safety, striker block, and loaded chamber indicator maintain safe operation.
Providing the accuracy desired in a defensive handgun is the full-size G3 slide and barrel assembly. The slide includes a durable Tenifer black matte finish to resist wear and corrosion and houses the four-inch precision-machined stainless-steel barrel. Chambered in 9mm, the single-action striker-fired operation coupled with the longer sight radius promotes increased accuracy. Likewise, a drift adjustable rear sight lets shooters dial in the aimpoint.
