At the recent Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous EOTECH announced its first pistol sight with the EFLX Mini Reflex Sight. The sight marks a departure from the company’s typical holographic platform and ventures into LED. Not to mention, the EFLX comes at a price that almost any budget can bear.
The EOTECH EFLX Mini Reflex Sight
Housed in heavy-duty aluminum, the EOTECH EFLX maintains the familiar square viewing window, for a wide field of view. As a result, the available 3 or 6 MOA dot is easy to find for quicker target acquisition. Additionally, the optic utilizes an LED platform, providing a crisp, bright dot. The rugged housing also provides 33 feet of water resistance, so you don’t have to worry about the elements.
The EFLX is configured to the Leupold Delta Point Pro footprint and can mount to any platform with the appropriately milled slide. However, it can also mount onto a rear dovetail mounting adaptor, for additional options. Although the EFLX is designed for pistol use, it can also be mounted to a rifle as a 1x solution when a mounted scope is present.
Available in either 3 or 6 MOA, the EFLX is adjustable for windage and elevation at 1 MOA per click. Likewise, the dot features 9 brightness settings, 7 daytime, 1 ultra-bright, and 1 additional setting for Gen I through III+ night vision devices.
The sight operates on a single CR2032 battery. As a result, the EFLX provides approximately 25,000 hours of runtime for the 3 MOA at brightness level 5. Likewise, the 6 MOA has 20,000 hours of operation at brightness level 5. When it is time to change the battery, the top-loading battery compartment prevents any effect to your zero.
