The Anderson Manufacturing Kiger-9C
Constructed of high-strength, lightweight polymer, the frame features an extended beavertail for enhanced grip. Likewise, aggressive texturing on the grip, thumb, and forefinger works to provide a solid purchase while handling.
Additionally, the undercut trigger guard, front of the trigger guard, front strap, and backstrap feature serrations to aid in retention. The frame also features a 4-slot Picatinny rail for the addition of accessories like lights and lasers.
The frame’s over-molded slide rails also help minimize frame twist during operation. Correspondingly, riding atop the frame is the 416R stainless steel billet slide with DLC coating. The slide additionally features aggressive forward and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation under duress.
Housed within the slide is a 3.91-inch 416R stainless steel barrel with DLC coating and recessed crown, chambered in 9mm. Rounds are sent downrange via a short, crisp trigger with trigger safety from the standard 15-round magazine or CA-compliant 10-round magazine. In addition, a beveled magazine well with improved channels provides fast, reliable magazine changes.
