Sharing design and engineering developed for GLOCK’s military pistol (G19X), the compact crossover GLOCK 45 is a favorite among shooters. Combining a compact slide with a full-size frame, the pistol has all the benefits of a Gen5 model. Not to mention sharing specifications with operators and worldwide law enforcement. For this reason, Davidson’s collaborated with GLOCK, Holosun, and Gunsite Academy to release its exclusive Gunsite GLOCK Service Pistol (GGSP).
Davidson’s Exclusive Gunsite GLOCK Service Pistol: Heart of a GLOCK 45
Due to its wide popularity, Davidson’s opted to use the GLOCK 45 as the heart of the GGSP. However, the company took the pistol to a whole new level with custom features that GLOCK enthusiasts will love.

Keeping with tradition, the GGSP is built on GLOCKS black polymer frame with flared magazine well for fast reloads. Likewise, the Modular Backstrap System (MBS) coupled with enhanced grip texturing ensures excellent retention while firing. The subdued black also helps reduce reflectiveness.
Riding atop the frame is the steel slide, coated in GLOCK’s hard-surface finish nDLC, in non-reflective black. The forward and rear cocking serrations also help in slide manipulation while under duress, even with wet or sweaty hands. Chambered in 9mm, the slide houses the reliable GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) for enhanced accuracy.
Rounds are sent downrange with the GLOCK factory “minus connector,” which reduces trigger pull weight to approximately 4.5 pounds. The GGSP is fed via three included 17-round magazines which are ejected using a reversible FBI rounded mag release. Similarly, the pistol includes an ambidextrous slide stop lever.
A GLOCK 45 with Optics
Previously done by GLOCK only for military and law enforcement, the slide is milled to accept reflex optics. However, there is no need to go shopping for one because the GGSP includes the Holosun HE509T-RD X2. The HE509T-RD X2 features titanium housing, Holosun’s Super LED (up to 50K hours battery life), multi-reticle system, solar failsafe, and shake awake technology.
Working with the Holosun optic are Ameriglo suppressor-height sights, allowing for co-witnessing with the optic. The front sight features a white dot, while the rear sight features a white outline for optimal sight alignment.
